Hey hey!
Here with two small updates:
Personal stuff: I finally decided, with reluctance, to take a short stress leave from my job. It's just two weeks; any longer and it would mean a reduction in pay, which I can't afford (barely making ends meet as it is, honestly!), but it feels like a relief. I saw my GP on Thursday and took her recommendation this time, so my leave started on Friday. I sent in the notice and the sick leave note on Thursday and so far I haven't heard a word back from my employers, which makes me nervous. Here's hoping they're good about it.
Writing stuff: I've been delighted that people are reading and seemingly liking Crossed Wires! Thanks!!! :) That's spurred me to write more - I just put in almost 2,000 words of my hiking fic! That's right: I'm sending Sherlock and John to the Canadian Rockies to solve two murders, which they can only gather evidence for by hiking! (You know Mycroft's not up to THAT level of legwork!) I'm also making Sherlock Holmes camp, which is just fun! The fic is just shy of 6,200 words as of now. :) I expect this one to be longer and plottier, so it might be a bit. It's nice to be writing again!
