Weed Hacker || Su + Ferb
It did not need to be said that the university was far larger than the Secondary school, but oh well. It was far bigger, which meant that it had far more nooks and crannies to stow away in. Ferb had been canvasing all over in order to find them— several of which had been computer labs. The ones that were left open to anyone whenever they were needed, only needing to be checked in at the front desk by whatever uni worker was on shift that day. Between those and the library, Ferb had been doing pretty well in finding places to hang out between classes.
So, of course, things had to go a little sideways only a month into the semester.
At first he hadn’t really thought anything of it, only noticing the small shifts in the one computer lab. (As his brain couldn’t not notice or forget them once it did.) More wires than normal. (He was sort of a neat freak when it came to cable management.) More glitches with the machines than had occurred before. The lab had even been closed a few times in most recent days.
More recently, he had started seeing other things. Weirder things. Things that he had started to get concerned about. Namely, when he had gone to plug in a USB he’d brought in it hadn’t fit into any of the ports. He’d shined a flashlight and saw greenery growing inside.
This was why he had asked Su to come with him the next time he went as she was the person he knew to have experience with plants. And magic. Not that he assumed this had something to do with magic but— in Swynlake, it seemed rather ignorant to assume otherwise.
