Who profits from the prohibition of cannabis?

If it’s true that weed is the answer to so many problems. Then why aren’t we using it? That is the question. Why? Because few people would like to stay rich, even at the expense of the majority of peoples health and lives. I don’t think we should be angry at any individual person though, as we’re all just playing position. But it’s time to realise we can all be better off in a system where cannabis isn’t illegal. To continue in our destructive ways is disrespectful to the earth and ourselves.  Drug Cartels Take advantage of the black market, which cannabis shouldn't even be a part of. There is a demand for cannabis because of what it can do to help people, this will never change. The problem is it has been drawn into a criminal world of hard drugs and guns. The journey of weed supplied by them has many victims. From the people paid to take the risk of transporting drugs across a border, as a last resort to feed their families. Or youths on our streets selling the small amounts for their own reasons. The only ones who profit are drug lords making huge amounts of money, giving orders to lower ranking members of where to traffic drugs or who to kill. Cannabis is a massive part of their operation, as their organisation continues to grow so will the violence and deaths of innocent people caught up in the battle between cartels and law enforcement. If there is no money in running a drug cartel, they will be wiped out. As will the violence. Many members wouldn't have to be involved if there were other ways to make money and survive. Create a legal market for cannabis and we take away a big chunk drug lords power and profit. Those who wish to use weed can, knowing it has been grown in a good environment. Genuine jobs will be available from the cultivation and supply of cannabis. Not only that but the billions which are wasted on the drug war, which doesn't work and makes things worse. Can be used to rehabilitate hard drug users. Which brings me to... The Pharmaceutical Industry 

See cannabis as a massive threat, as usual it's the owners and people highest up that stand to make the most money while prohibition continues. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find specific names but that isn't the point. The system is built, so some take such a path. They might not even realise just how much damage they are doing.  The medical uses of weed, have been proven over & over again. Remember it relives pain from any illness. Easing the patients suffering. Not only this but has shown its ability to cure simple things from headaches, to being the only known cure for asthma and a very likely cure for cancer, given the right freedom to be advanced.  Remember, cannabis doesn't have to be smoked. For medical purposes it can be eaten, taken in oil form. Applied in whatever way suits a certain patient. It is selfish of the pharmaceutical industry to lobby for prohibition to continue. Because their provided medication is, so often less effective than cannabis and with many negative side effects. It's not to say modern medicine isn't needed but it should work together with the historical and wise cannabis plant. Which can relieve the side effects from tablets and such. Give out true information to the public, sales of medication such as aspirin will fall and not be needed. If we care most about peoples health, saving lives of family members. Medical cannabis will become an everyday thing you can purchase legally, sticking with todays ways show that we care more about money and greed. Just like... Tobacco / Alcohol Companies it's crazy, nobody really shows the same hate towards these things as cannabis even though their damage is worse. Tobacco being harmful to the body. Alcohol is the same plus it makes people violent. I know this but i'm not against their legality, people have the right to choose what they put into their own body. But if you have any morals, you'll agree cannabis should also be legal. It heals sick patients, doesn't harm anyone. Not many of us want to live life without some kind of recreational drug. Cannabis is deeper than most understand, in its ability to unite people. But you get high, have a good time. Better than being on drugs where you lose control. No hangover / comedown either. So it benefits owners of these companies to see that propaganda stays in the papers and the public view cannabis in a negative light. If it was allowed, could people visit a cannabis cafe on a weekend rather than a club. Would tobacco and alcohol sales fall? Maybe. Who cares? Only those who make money from selling them. Cannabis is safer for us. As for the earth, it'd be safer if... Oil and Timber Companies Weren't the same, their products can be replaced by cannabis, so they fear it. Just keeps becoming clearer that the conspiracy is real. As I outline the big picture, make no mistake all of this in full detail is out there to see, for anybody who seeks it. Simply, we've been lied to. Information removed from education books and so on, luckily we have the internet and our own sources. I know that deep down we all care about the earth, our home. As we drive around in our vehicles unaware that cannabis hemp could replace the fuel we dig into the ground for. We blindly receive and throw away junk mail made from trees, which hemp paper could replace. The truth, which many find it hard to accept is that we have been and are still being lied to. There are ways to avoid making the path towards our own destruction. We donate to charities but nothing changes. Starvation continues, why? I ask. While hemp seed is the most nutritious food that can be grown anywhere all year round without the need for exportation. Feeding everyone. Greed has taken over. It's simple, humans working alongside cannabis have the potential to live healthy lives without damaging the planet and using up its resources. But the focus has to be sharing not making more money than someone else. Appreciate those who grow such a wonderful plant well, don't send them to... Private Prisons Must be filled to return profit for investors, this means targeting cannabis offenders and locking them up. Lobbying for the spread of propaganda so nobody complains. So much time targeting us for growing a plant while violent crimes go unsolved. In fact most prisons are full of offenders there simply for cannabis possession. Wasted lives in jail, making products for a big company to sell. Then the cycle continues, the next generation will have it worse. As more private prisons are built living conditions for the poor will become more unbearable, good people coming out of prison for a crime that did no harm, unable to work. Turning to real crime. The youths following because who else will they look up to? The governments which lied to us for the sake of a few rich people? I doubt it.  So, when the people are more interested in unity and love we will see the legalisation and full use of cannabis is not only the right thing to do but a beneficial thing to do for the human race and planet earth.. We must stop being scared to leave this system of greed and selfishness behind.
