[ for sure.  i relate heavily to isaac & appreciated his storyline as well       i think the characterisations of the whole gang could be really spot-on??????  like, i could rant about derek's treatment of isaac, but i still really love the character of derek hale, you know?????????  just sometimes, the shitty things they did were a product of bad writing & mischaracterisation.  scott carelessly hurting an abuse survivor & acting out as though allison was his possession was just the first example that came to mind, because that is the EXACT opposite of what scott mccall in that incarnation would do.

plus in the season beforehand, isaac had been really organically & touchingly building up a trust & attachment to scott, so to have the new season start off like that was a slap in the face for me, personally. :I ]
