#week 9 update

Update Post - Week 9, 19th of December, 2022

Life seems to never slow down, even if you think it will!

I've had to travel unexpectedly due to some complications, but I'm proud to say:

Progress on Chapter 1 continues! I'll have to go back in and rewrite everything from scratch. One of the luxuries you don't get by sharing your WiP as you release it is sharing your work at its best; most novels go through several rounds of professional copyediting before they hit the public. My only goal now is to write like hell! I can worry less about derailing since I'm following an outline.

Character portraits are done! I'm also unsure of how I'll send them out. I'll be adding them to their character spotlights soon once I know a way to weave them in naturally. Click readmore to see them!!

Four character spotlights completed! I've got them all ready to go, I'm just pondering how I'll send them out. Maybe I'll slowly send them out over the course of the day in a long reblog chain.

Updated some visuals of the game! I know most people are probably reading IFs in their bed at some ungodly hour, so it was very important that dark mode looked good! The light sidebar also changed! PROFUSE thanks to my extremely talented, amazing partner for creating these awesome visuals!! ❤️❤️❤️

Week 9 Update

This week was spring break, so I used the extra time off to my advantage. I finished reading and making notes for each of the five novels, read up on the critical approaches I'll be using, completed my annotated bibliography, and started on the soundtracks. Overall, it was a very productive week!

This week, I hope to get some more work done on the soundtracks and tropes posts.
