As soon as I saw that beautiful blue background I breathed a sigh of relief. The past few weeks have been Wands and Pentacles - all about action and practicality. This week we get some respite from DOING and some time to just sit with our feelings. In this version of the card the mermaid holds a cup of something that appears to be steaming (although I’m not sure how that works under water!). Is she breathing in the wafting aroma? Is she daydreaming? Is she caught up in a memory? Or is she just taking the time to be present with her thoughts? Whichever it is, she’s doing it lightly.
