Weekly Catch-Up in Quincy
How is your house Theme coming along? Pretty great! I was just piling all my Ice and Snowman furniture in my right hand room but once I had all the Snowman series I started to tidy it up a bit. I took quite a few pieces out and rearranged the room so I could actually walk round it! The next day I got 2 letters from the HHA saying my score had passed 500,000 and 700,000 points - I was so shocked! I now have the Gold door to match the roof and changed to the Fancy exterior which goes really well.
What are you wearing? There's been a bunch of new clothes at Gracie's so I picked up the worn-out jeans and dragon jacket which I'm wearing with my cowboy boots. It seemed a good time to show off my crown, which I finally splurged on. The first time I wore it, Purrl came running up to give me a new nickname - 'Princess"!
Any villagers move in or out? Tutu left which was sad but I'm excited to have someone new move in. I had one igloo camper, Pecan. She was cute but I think I'd like another guy cos I don't have a Jock. Dizzy has also popped up in Main Street, which is nice :)
How are you getting on with your encyclopedia? I spent about an hour last night diving and eventually managed to catch a red king crab. So once I catch a spider crab next month, I'll be done with the diving creatures! I've caught all the insects but somehow managed to not donate a cricket to the museum. So that won't be until September. I thought I only had one fish to catch but it looks like I didn't manage to catch a char last year. It's available next month though so that's not really a problem!
Have you changed anything at the Museum? I had a lot of food items cluttering up my house that I didn't want to get rid of, like the pumpkin pie and the chocolate cake from Isabelle. I decided to put them in the Museum cafe so it looks more like a cake buffet :)
Did anything annoy you this week? I bought a perfect painting from Redd and tried donating it to Blathers but he kept saying I had nothing available to donate. Then I realised I'd already donated that painting but forgotten to mark it off - doh! So that was a waste of money. As was the moving painting Julian sold me for over 7000 bells which turned out to be a FAKE!
What made you happy this week? Julian finally, finally, FINALLY gave me his pic! He wanted new furniture so I brought him a spare ice side table and he rewarded me with his pic. It now has pride of place beside my bed :)
