Been doing a lot of polish this past week, cleaning up a lot of bugs and errors, but I did get to redo the title screen a bit, preparing it for the next SAGE expo, thought it was a bit more interesting then the pan scroll from the old demo

WEEKLY UPDATE - September 6

Hey everyone!

I'll start doing these weekly posts every Saturday from now on, so you guys can remain updated on what I'm doing for Afterimage!

For the game:

Chapter one's still nowhere to be completed, unfortunately. I managed to finish a scene I was stuck on – progress! – but the menu coding isn't 100% as of now. I'll work on that during the weekend!

For the blog:

I added Detective Kurosawa (D's former partner) to the main cast post, and I'll try to finish their intro, as well as Rivers', until next week.

Some people have sent me a few asks (one of them asking for a scenario), and I'm planning to answer them eventually. For now, I'm prioritizing the game writing, but feel free to keep sending them!

I'm really happy with where things are going, and I can't thank you guys enough for showing excitement towards my story.

This is going to be really fun, and I hope you enjoy it!

Bun n' gun update 177

Been fiddling around with how I wanna end the next section / demo and how to set that up, landed on it being an island you have to reach for the boss fight to start, all I have so far for it is an intro sequence and some basic movements but this could be the start of something more exciting then what was in the last demo.

Keeping it short and sweet this week. Finished doing the interior for the Cactus, still got a lot of the overworld to do but I wanted to showcase the progress of what it's like climbing the Cactus now in comparison to the prototype video from before.

Couldn't work on what I really wanted to show this week because of some real life events so I wanted to do a quick update this week to show off the model for one of the main Bandit's Harry, all that's done so far is his model, hopefully I'll have more of him to show off someday.
