HDPE sees mild weekly firming
HDPE prices posted a small weekly rise, offering a steadier tone after recent softness. Indian HDPE prices increased by Rs 1/kg over the week, while remaining stable on a broader month view. The change was limited in size but notable for maintaining levels that had been tested earlier.
Over the past fortnight, HDPE prices are higher by Rs 1/kg, confirming that the recent move has not been reversed. Trading during this period stayed orderly, with prices operating between recent lows near Rs 91/kg and highs around Rs 94.5/kg.
On a year-on-year basis, HDPE remains Rs 2/kg lower, underlining that the present firmness sits within a longer-term softer structure.
