I did a thing last night toying with the idea of what Larissa and Isaac’s child/children would look like based on generics and dominant traits. I was unprepared for the result to be basically Tyler’s hair and eye color.
I mean, I definitely have thought it before but the math didn’t work for it. The science of genetics amuse me though and I needed to share with the class. A Weems-Night child would look more like an older (or younger) sibling than cousin depending on the universe.
Also, their kid could have a hybrid power. Telekinesis is a more dominant trait than shapeshifting or least I think so. The kid could have morphokinesis, which is ability to alter and move physical matter in tandem.
I haven’t decided in The Weems–Night Hypothesis verse if their kid will be a boy or girl. I kind of see Isaac excelling as a girl dad though just based on his interactions with his sister verses his nephew. Granted I think his dynamics with Isaac are about circumstances of s2.
When the muse is high so you spend your weekend writing like you’re Alexander Hamilton running out of time. Your characters are so sad and you have 30 years of grief and heartache to contend with before you can fix it.
Will my audience hate me if at some point I throw out something random for kinktober that doesn’t necessarily fit into my narrative direction or the arc of the anthology? Like my heart is world expanding within canon but sometimes you need joy.
Tonight’s drop: another pre-Controlled Variables ficlet. Let’s be honest, the only ones who didn’t know Isaac and Larissa were endgame were Isaac and Larissa. Ride-or-die energy since day one, across every timeline I touch.
When you should be updating your fics but you cave to whims and do a little Nevermore 90s fragment to prequel the fic where they don’t end up together until they are adults and Francoise is like “For fucks sake, just use me as your excuse to stalk her” in her sisterly way. I love this for me.
Okay so my smutty one-shot sparked muse for a whole other timeline and its own crazy plot. I see potential to serialize a happier timeline.
Do I have two full-blown, completely unattached Weenight Universes at the same time?
Nah. I hate romance and fun.
Yes. I need the lighter universe to balance the grief era.

74 of 74 Chapters completed. It's going to be part of a series so it's my more less the end of phase one. I get to explore 1991-2005 in the post-Isaac to Slurp Revival Era and I'm lowkey pumped to get to explore deeper. My working title for the general anthology is Electric Veil since so much of the story banks of death and resurrection but if you have better ideas, hit me up. Also if you have specific one-shot moments you want to see in the next phase in the in between years come at me. Anyways, thanks to those who have been reading this far and I hope those of you who come along later enjoy.
