i have a drop spindle for sale. made of dense wood, the grain follows an intricate spiralling pattern that seems to change as you look at it. any enchantment spun with it will have added weight and fade very slowly. i also find it gives the fibres good stitch definition.

I would be happy to sell such an item for you, dear Weft. Do you have an asking price to set?

i have to offer a tangled ball of yarn. attempting to tease the knots apart will cause any pursuers lose your trail. however, please be cautious. invoking this protection too often will sap your own ability to find your way.

Is this a donation or a sale, Weft? And more importantly for my own sense of curiosity, is this why I watched you walk past the door to my shop three times before seeing it and coming inside? I do hope you haven't been pursued too ferociously.

i have a bolt of fabric to sell. it is ostensibly black, but when magic is directed at it, it shimmers with a slick iridescence. if fashioned into a garment, it would be useful for detecting incoming curses and other magic, and will dull, if not repel, the effects.

Oh, this is elegantly made. A true work of art. As it happens, I have a commission from a high-ranking member of the Deep Flower who requires protection from mental magic. They have apparently entered into a rivalry with the Closed Hand, and given that faction's propensity for mind control, it is a reasonable precaution.

This fabric would be perfect for the base for such an outfit. What would your price be for this? I cannot offer the normal percentage of sale, as I wouldn't be selling it as is.

i have a coat to sell. it has protection woven into the cuffs and warmth banded across the chest. it is made of thick red wool. please wash it gently, and let it air dry.

This would make a glad addition to anyone's wardrobe, my dear Weft. I can offer 50% of its selling price, and a few skeins of a dark umber yarn that I recently sourced from the Mongrels. Their animals, I have found, always have the strongest wool.
