I’m a proud and Guns, much like planes, don’t really care about your gender, or whether you “think you can”. Just go out there and GET IT DONE if that’s what you want to do! Only downside to shooting as a girl is the bruises (ain’t got much muscle or fat cushioning my bones) and the shorter length of pull you might want in a gun. I’ve heard all sorts of nonsense from people about how hard is it to get into ‘male-dominated’ hobbies like flying and shooting. “People’ll treat you like you’re dumb if you’re a girl,” I’ve heard. Who cares? Walk with your head held high, find an instructor and friends who are there to support and respect you, and you can do anything you want. If you run into the odd jerk, that’s fine.
