High dimensions and full-sized scans; Some important notes!

Please please please refrain from posting the full-sized posters of Weibo origin anywhere e.g. Minitokyo / Tumblr / We Heart It.

Reason for this is because the scan providers there do not wish for their scans to be redistributed outside Weibo. A lot of them already ceased sharing scans because of it and the ones that are left had chosen to reduce the dimensions, if not quitting all together.

So please. If your full-sized scans originated from Weibo, don't post them anywhere. 

If this keeps up, I only have two options to go;

1. I might need to start putting up "Do NOT redistribute..." texts along with the photos, and I know these tends to be super annoying in most of the cases. Or I can be...

2. Posting only low dimension with watermark of the original scanner but NOT providing link back to Weibo, to prevent people from getting the full-sizes and repost them. Of course if they themselves already own an account there and know how it works, then this is meaningless.

I'll see what will happen in the future.

And to stress it again, begging, please please do not post full-sized scans of Weibo origin anywhere!

Mind you, it isn't easy to scan AND fix such large posters so we all ought to be super grateful of them! 

I know people don't listen to me but if you choose to continue, at the very least CREDIT and SOURCE them properly!

Because of increasing OPs wishing not to have their scans redistributed outside Weibo, I've been reposting scans in LQ and providing link back to Weibo for those who wish for HQ. And it will be more frequent from now on too.

For those who want the HQ scans:

I understand that many of you have trouble in making a Weibo account. Therefore I've made a public account for you all to use, but comes with important Do's and Don't's!

Do's! - Browse, download and enjoy it for yourself only.

For help browsing tags on Weibo, go here. For help getting the HQ scans, go here or here.

Don't's! - Do NOT attempt to change the profile/settings or even the password! - Do NOT subscribe to any user, comment, like or reblog any post! - Do NOT share this account without my permission!

AND MOST IMPORTANT! Do NOT redistribute the HQ scans or doujinshi you get from Weibo!

This account will be used by multiple users. Even if you change the password, I can easily take it back whenever. That includes if I see HQ scans or doujinshi of Weibo origin being shared on tumblr! And in order to avoid suspicions, do not leave any trace such as subscription, comment, like or reblog. Leave the profile bare!

Now, this is an EXPERIMENT! Because I do NOT know if Weibo would be able to track the account being used by multiple IPs. If they do, this account will then be banned and nothing else I can do about it.

Those who are interested may send me a message (ask), tell me you've read this post and understood the terms and conditions. After I received your message, I will ask you a question for you to prove that you've read everything in this post.

I will IGNORE messages: - That are from anon. - That does not include text saying they've read and understood etc. - That fail to answer my question.

You may say this is a 2-step process, yeah annoying isn't it? But that's how it is.

If you do not receive any reply within 3 days, then tumblr might have eaten it and you'll just have to send it again.

When you arrive to the cellphone part, try clicking 'x' to remove the window.

I made Weibo accounts both before and after the change and neither times did I ever used cellphone number for it.

Hi! Do you happen to know how I search for Kamamoto on weibo? And how can I view the most recent results?

Once you log into weibo, no matter which page you’re on, you still always see the following navigator bar on top:

Basically, just copy paste Kamaoto’s Kanji name (you can easily find it on wikipedia or pixiv) onto the search bar you see there with the magnifier glass, which should locate right next to your username. And the result page is automatically set from the most recent to oldest. Like many websites, pinned posts are always on top THEN comes the normal posts.

I mean... I clicked on the image (1) on her wall and... Nothing... T-T

Oh! In that case, let’s try another way;

Go back to the user’s page and click on her album (1)!

Choose the album with the most images in it (2)!

You will see all her recent images! Choose any of them. Scroll down and click next page to see more > u <;;;

Scroll down and click the marked link (3) then TADA! You should get the big sparkling apple :D

About weibo: Days ago I could click on the preview and a java window would appear but now... I can't view the full image anymore. I have an account! Help?

Yes, weibo’s becoming tricky now. I shall do my best to help you with the following screen shots!

First when you arrive the user’s page! Just click on the image (1) on her wall!

The image will become larger. Next, click on the marked link (2)!

And you should get something like this, or even bigger preview but it doesn’t matter! Click on the link that says 1:1 (3) and TADA!! You get the golden apple! :D

I hope this is the help you’re asking for! If not, get me a screenshots of yours so I can see what exactly is the problem.
