Weight Gaming: The Snackrooms...s
There are two games with the title The Snackrooms, one a text based adventure and the other a fully animated game
First we have the text adventure by SkeleSoda
Explore a backrooms-esque scenario, a strange place full of tempting food and those who have been tempted too far. You're joined by cheerful Alex and snarky Taylor. You can either feed up your friends, feed up yourself, or both. I will give a warning, if anyone of you three gets fed to the point of immobility they get left behind and some of the dialogue does get a little more real than I usually like for kink games, just some like "you can't leave me here!" stuff that makes the situation feel pretty real.
Pros: this is a pretty in depth game! I like all the options, I like how much detail gets put into the personality of your companions, and there's some really hot descriptions. Plus, they take into account how your companions change the scenario you're in, if you lose one fatty along the way and then get fed by just one it's a different experience than if you were fed by both. I also really like the text effects.
Cons: it is a lot of reading, if you're like me and cellphones made your unmedicated adhd worse you're going to need to focus or skim. Also, there are some endings that just come out of nowhere super fast, you can be at the smallest weight level and still end the game immediately by choosing to eat certain things, I just feel like more could be done with that
Next up we have The Snackrooms by blobygon!
Explore another backrooms style environment and eat burgers until you reach blob-state, a big win for fans of extreme weight gain which is often my thing and barefoot blondes which isn't really my thing but you do you. Switch between first and third person pov to see yourself growing from different angles and toggle different effects such as burping and sweating.
Pros: well goddamn this is the only 3d weight gain game I've ever seen and it really pays off! Bonus points for the fact that you can pick what kind of blob you want to turn into vis a vis shape and width and whatnot. The sounds are good, the animation is good, and there's a nice bit of mobility play once you get big enough.
Cons: the controls... are... not great. It took me longer than I'd care to admit to figure out how to move the girl let alone open up the controls menu. They're finnicky, kinda remind me of the controls for Brutal Legend with how difficult it is to navigate your character around, of course that only really matters for the first section, once you reach blob mode you don't have to worry about moving so much unless you really want to try. It does make it kinda hard to replay when you know you're going to have to struggle through five minutes of walking around grabbing burgers and running into walls just to get to the good stuff, but I've been replaying it anyway so can't complain too much.
That's all I've got for now, I hope these reviews help people really cut through the AI slop into some fun sexy gaming
EDIT: unreality heads up, in blobygon's snackrooms there is a part where you see a shadowy figure peeking around the corner at you, that is part of the game
