Saturday's plans
The forecast is for 39C (102F) today and the heat-bringing easterly is howling. Plan A was early to the beach before it gets too hot but grogginess after a late night coupled with the wind has dissuaded me from that course.
Plan B is a weights session to make up for the one I didn't do yesterday (feedback from my friends is that yesterday's twin lifts were an activity not a session -dayam no sneaking past these girls!) I tell my clinical clients that five minutes counts when they are too sick to do any more, and while I could have done a session, I only have 'X' energy in a day when I'm flaring (or 'X' number of spoons for those of you who know the Spoon Theory) and I didn't want to ruin myself for the big night out. So, my first X in the exercise habits column *sniffle* because I'm tracking sessions not activity. Actually, the only healthy habit I achieved yesterday was my supplements, so let's just be honest and call Friday a blow-out.
A swim in my pool is probably a must, then I'll spend the hottest part of the day doing my logs and the company tax under the air conditioning. A picnic dinner and swim at the beach could be on the cards this evening if we can motivate ourselves!
