“i have no interest in revisiting the past.”
“well neither do i, weijun.” yuyan responds coolly, “but sometimes it comes back to haunt you, and right now handling that is a little more important.” her words are a little sharp, perhaps more than intended thanks to their current, completely undesirable situation, but she’s not quite in the mood for anything remotely close to philosophical musing when there’s a chance that people who had ruined their lives had come back for more. she glances over at him for a moment before turning off the safety of her pistol, wishing she carried more ammo as her hands shake ever so slightly. "before i shoot someone who may not deserve it; why the hell are they here, and how did they find you?" neither of them are sure who the all-too-familiar gunmen are here for, or if it's the both of them that they're seeking, but yuyan isn't willing to go down without a fight (in any manner), and protecting weijun is equal only to protecting herself. she waits, hidden in the shadows as they watch them, searching for weakpoints that they've incurred over the years . "i'm not even sure how many there are," she whispers, the smallest trace of worry tinging her words as she pats her hip to count the one spare magazine on her. she always carries a blade, but when it comes to their past- she didn't want to risk getting close enough to even use it. done watching for now, she presses her back back against the wall, "do you see more than four?"
