Bonus weird house. First, I thought that this was a regular brownstone for sale, the listing said that it's a 1900 townhouse in the heart of historic Bolton Hill, in Baltimore, MD. Then, I saw that you get BOTH corner homes, but they NEVER mentioned that it was a funeral home. 7bds, 5ba, 16,312sqft, $1.25m. Look at this property. SOLD AS-IS.
So, I was thinking that it was a church, at first. It was elegant, once upon a time. Now, when they say sold as-is, I assume that includes whatever is left. So, the buyer gets the stand w/the bags for wet umbrellas. The easel is blocking the stairs.
Wow. The original architecture appears to be mostly intact. Look at those doors. They painted the wood paneling white, though. You could open a restaurant, there's a little hostess stand at the door. (Yeah, right.)
Beautiful original fireplace. And, that mirror above it. The cross on the music stand is a little strange.
It looks like they lived here, b/c this is a TV room w/a coffee bar, etc.

I was thinking, this is a good price for Providence, RI, but I didn't expect the weirdness inside. I really don't understand what they were trying to achieve here. 1951 mid century modern, 4bds, 3ba, 2,322 sq ft, price reduced $14k to $485k. This is kind of odd, take a look.
In the entrance hall, they painted the railing white and installed black carpet, in what I think was an effort to modernize it.
They painted over a tile fireplace feature wall with flat paint (is that going to chip?) I have never seen an awning over a fireplace. Looks like they also added the blue piece of granite.

Wow, original rare Poppy red appliances. The popular colors were avocado, harvest gold, and copper tone. Looks like they painted the lower cabinets black w/the big MCM knobs and made the uppers white for a modern two-tone look. The island looks portable and I would've painted it black to match.
The sun room is paneled with matching ceiling beams and sliders to the patio. New black carpeting plus a round bar. What are those things hanging off the chairs?

This is a custom built estate in Alton, NH. The unusual 1980 home (the listing calls it a compound) has 3bds, 6ba, and needs some TLC. It's listed at $1.55M. Look at this uniquely, weird home. I didn't recognize it until I saw the interior, but I've posted it before.
The entrance looks unfinished, there's some junk around, and repairs are needed. It can be a dramatic feature. I'm not sure if the walls are cloudy plastic or just dirty glass.

Now, here we are outside and the pool is so murky, it needs work. Looks like a puzzle piece shape.

This home is so angular and there are so many walkways, halls, passageways and things.
I think that's a 2 car garage.
Here's the pool again. What are those cylinders all over the place? Maybe they're supposed to be planters.
