I have struck weird-knitting gold
As I write this I've been awake for three hours, which is to say I woke up HARD two hours ahead of my alarm. I thought this PDF was a sleep paralysis demon being hosted on Archive.org, but apparently it's real and can hurt you.

Speaking as someone who would have been part of the target market when this was published, I don't get it. At all. This issue is themed around TV shows, with patterns and puns which are supposed to relate to a TV show, and I generally don't get most of the references or ideas. Granted the selections I'm going to share with you are from the "re-runs" section, but even still I only knew most of the shows referenced because I'm a nerd. If 13 year-old me picked this up 20 years ago, I'd be so unbelievably confused and maybe slightly insulted.

Because nothing says "goth-punk" like cancelled game shows and anything labeled "granny.
Up next, more grandma
As a teen in 2006, I specifically hated Golden Girls. Also I don't get the theming. Those are sequins.
And now I have that theme song stuck in my head again! It will be stuck there for the remainder of the month!
Again! I don't get the theming! What the fuck is this garment? I only knew of Welcome Back, Kotter because my dad watches it once in a blue moon and the theme gets embedded in my brain and won't leave (which isn't actually a complaint, it's a bop)
You know it's bad when even my dad commented on the reference being a little obscure
I'm at a loss with this one. I only know of the title because I'm a M*A*S*H fan.
Okay, now I just feel stupid
I've never watched Seinfeld. Is checkers a thing on that show? Why did they crochet a checkerboard?
