Cheap Fix- "Re-Animator Blues" single (Goodbye Boozy)
Yet another Austin band that features the talents of James Arthur. Heck, I've lost count of all of the (really good) bands he has been in, but add this one to the list.
Arthur, along with Doug Niemczura (Quazi Modo, December Boys), Chad Nichols (Enduro, The Transgressors, The Damn Times), and Stuart Sikes (Nice Surprise, Trainwreck) rounds out this quartet.
Side A is an absolute freight train of power and heaviness. Not to be missed.
The flip, "French Song," with Nichols on vocals, had more of a hip/slip beat with fist punching drums (and a million cymbals) and more of that fabulous guitar.
This single reminds me of the early days of In the Red when they released outstanding singles by bands like Fireworks, Johnny Hash seemingly every week.
