NOAA Deep Sea Acoustics
My favourite bit of soundscape.
Most likely generated by a very large iceberg grounded in the Ross Sea by Antarctica in 1997. The haunting sound is generated as the iceberg is slowly moving and dragging its keel on the seafloor.
Look who joined the family tonight
Oliver from Bodega and Randi from the Boston Center of the Arts talk with graphic designer, educator, and publisher Kathleen Sleboda (that's me!), co-founder and design director of Draw Down Books, an independent publisher and bookseller, and a studio partner at Gluekit. "We talk about the significance of PUNK; the DIY roots of design in Club Culture, Dance Culture; Acid Graphic Design movement; sub cultures as a rich breeding ground for design; finding community, the BCA Cyclorama; and MORE!"
This is a new podcast series that spotlights the work of independent publishers, artists, and designers. We're getting ready for the Boston Art Book Fair in November and can't wait to see folks at the BCA's Cyclorama!

My kid’s snoring sounds like a cross between a goose honk and a tiny European siren (like the tone of a German ambulance that I remember from years ago). 😂
Something very strange happened to me late this afternoon. First I heard the very clear sounds of a windchime. None of my neighbors have windchimes. Then within a minute or 2, the hot water kettle I have near me in my office switched on by itself and started heating up.
Was somebody trying to tell me something?
i really wanna go to more scary escape rooms, but one member of our escape team doesn't like them so we generally choose non-scary ones, but she's cool with missing out on those so if we convince more friends i def wanna try more!
the first escape room i went to (with my bff and her uncle) was one that was a bit scary in the way that they actually locked me and him out of the mainroom and left my bff alone there lmao. but it was very fun to try and figure out the puzzle to reunite us all!
