Spam was invented because Hormel found a way to get rid of the floor sweepings in the plant that processed pig meat. It was salted heavily to preserve it of course and they charged the Government big bucks for this. My uncle ate a lot of it when he was in the army and vowed to never eat it again after he got out of the service. When you eat heavily salted foods you retain water of course and the other things in it are preserving you before you die of heart failure from all of the cholesterol that's in it.

We are all aware that extremely processed pork is not a health food. Not clear on why you feel the need to tell me this.

Was it from my interaction when a post in which someone made something that looked pretty good from Spam? I bet that was it.

The dose makes the poison and emergent properties are , like the above superhero, A Thing. Putting Spam in to your diet does not make your diet healthier (unless you have some very specific nutritional deficiencies, I suppose), but its mere presence does not make your diet unhealthy.

There are remarkably few mortal sins in dining.

Looking good is more than just being appealing. It’s presenting yourself to others in a manner that reflects your intentions. Looking “good” isn’t being attractive all the time. It’s being appropriate. It’s how people judge one another, how they decide what to do with you, and how they will treat you. Your appearance is important in social decision making and profiling.
