Pit is basically Outer!Pit... He is not homeless after he left his AU. Pit found Outertale at some point. Those endless stars look similar to what he saw in the CORE and Pit immediately feels like home again. Because of Error, Pit went through various copies of Outertale, never staying in one single Outertale world, until he stumbled upon an abandoned copy with no traces of life left.
