Okay I’m sorry this took long, but here it is!

Class that day was boring, so boring. As soon as the bell rang I leapt out of my seat and rushed towards the cafeteria. As I made my way there, Caddy rushed up towards me and stood next to me. “Hey, shithead,” I said, smiling. The relationship I had with Caddy was strange. I liked him, but I hated him. I’m pretty sure he just hated me, though. I was very sure that Caddy had no feelings towards me, but he was acting strangely that day. “Hi.” Hi? Was that it? God, he was acting strangely. We walked in silence towards the cafeteria and I noticed that Caddy’s hand was twitching a little. “Are you alright, Caddy?” “Ummm.” He frowned. “No, I’m not,” he said with a sigh. “Do you know what would make me feel better?” I stopped and he stopped as well. “Whatever it is, I’ll do it.” I blushed, realising what I just said. “I mean…what would make you feel better?” He looked down at the floor and blushed. “Can I…um…hold your hand?” We were both bright red, from the neck up. “Oh, okay. Yeah. Totally. Yup,” I grabbed his hand and started walking, the rush of adrenaline had taken a hold of me. He was smiling and so was I. When we reached the cafeteria we were still holding hands, so we got a few looks. I let go of Caddy’s hand to grab my food, but when I grabbed my food I made the biggest move I have ever made. “Do you…um…want to go eat outside?” “Oh, sure Ian.” When we got outside, we started eating and chatting and the whole time, we were holding hands. I was freaking out, did Caddy actually like me back? “Um…Caddy? What was bothering you earlier when you said holding my hand would make you feel better?” “Oh, nothing” Caddy put down his plate a shuffled closer to me and laid down. I laid down as well, so we were both looking at the sky. Caddy laid his head on my chest. “What was bothering me is the fact that I hate you, but also love you.” I chuckled. “I’m glad we feel the same way about each other.”
