Is this a metaphor for life in weird comic book panel form?
I say, a resounding “Yes.”

Beardo of the week
Keep an eye out for our Beardo of the week posts. You never know what you’re gonna get: a hot celebrity, a dog wearing a crocheted beard, someone’s drunk grandpa passed out on the front porch in his underwear. The only thing that is certain: BEARDS!
The top photo is a still of Steve Coogan's film The Trip to Italy. The bottom three are photos I took of Camogli, the small town on the Italian Riviera where I lived for four months in 2011. It's an uncanny feeling for your apartment building to show up at random on the big screen. I expect to see New York; I do not ever expect to see Camogli.
So I woke up and discovered a storm blowing in with big dark blue-gray clouds and high winds. (It was warm yesterday, I guess I should have been expecting this, but the thing is that it wasn't warmer than usual for the time of year so I thought we were just finally hitting our spring.) Not being prepared, I tried to load the weather app on my phone to see what's up. Not gonna find out that way, because it insists on thinking we are still in Tuesday; I can't make it update. So I googled it. Apparently the meteorologists, national and local, have no idea; the weather services insist that it's fair with a chance of showers. NO FUCK YOU I AM GETTING BLOWN AWAY HERE. What is this, a storm that exists only over my house???!?
The Husband is making me watch Blackadder and I don't know how I feel about it.
Confused, mainly, I think.
