Gift Horse
Just so you guys know: The phrase "don't look a gift horse in the mouth" refers to the fact that people look in a horses mouth to check the overall health of the animal. If somebody were to give you a horse and you checked its mouth, it would be seen as offensive because it is as if you are doubting the fact they would give you a healthy horse. So basically, don't look up the price of your present online while your guest is still in the room. 😜
