Oh also Ford and I tried weirdplay/weirdreg yesterday!

We weren't really sure if it was weirdplay or weirdreg because the vibe shifted a couple of times but we tried it!

It didn't go as well as I could have because it was kind of last-ditch effort to deal with some bad intrusive thoughts I was having and Ford thought that maybe putting me in weirdspace would help.

It helped, not COMPLETELY, but the thoughts were abnormally bad and we were able to keep me distracted from them at least!

so anyway I am not going to make any Tumblr posts containing text that clarifies what weirdspace is, the information is available though (and I put it in the about)

I am going to just talk about it like people know what it is, so expect to be Goncharoved by weirdspace or smth

Okay so I have fully developed what weirdspace/creaturespace is to me and here is a document about it

I do not intend to publicize this too highly because I feel like some things about it (namely that it can be both a regression/copey thing and a kink thing) would piss people off

however for anyone who wanted to know more about it, there you go

I don’t actually like the experience of people being pissed off at me but I do like making up things that would piss people off if those things were better known and/or seen by the opposite of their target audience

btw my tag for weirdreg is now weirdspace because I’m coming to understand it as a state of mind that I can do things with that aren’t covered under “regression” as understood by agereg or petreg and that I’d feel uncomfortable calling “regression” per se but I call that state of mind “weirdspace”. 

it’s because I realized that the dynamic I was coming up with between the POV person in a weirdcore edit and the person delivering the text lent itself very well to D/s dynamics

and since weirdspace isn’t inherently associated with childhood (and I don’t think appreciation of the nostalgic elements of weirdcore is inherently childlike), I realized I felt comfortable with coining an equivalent “weirdplay”.

to me, the difference is that weirdreg is when I’m coping on my own and Ford isn’t really involved past observing me, whereas weirdplay is where Ford is involved as a kind of guiding and comforting figure because then its something that two [perceived] people are doing.
