Well, didn’t this lady look all dazed and confused.
Not, of course, that he could particularly blame her--hell, he himself wasn’t exactly sure just what the hell had gone on in these bombed-out ruins--although, the fact that the parts of it not submerged in water tended to have some foliage running amok in them told him that it had at least been a while ago. Now that he’s thinking more on it, he doesn’t even know how long he’s been there himself. For all he knew, he could have been lying there since the place got destroyed and he wouldn’t be the wiser. Ah, the joys of amnesia.
The fact that he doesn’t remember anything isn’t something he feels like dwelling on too much, however (it’s a bit of a downer, for one thing), so he turns his attention back to the lady dressed in white, who currently doesn’t seem to have noticed him yet. He loudly clears his throat and raps a knuckle against the nearest tree.
“If you’re looking for locals, you’re not gonna find any. As far as I know I’m pretty much the only person who’s actually from around here. ...I don’t actually know a whole lot of fun facts about this place, though, so if you want information I guess you’re shit outta luck. Sorry.”
