The first of September always comes like a whisper...

a gentle caress of the autumn air

that touches the summer, just before saying goodbye to it.

The mornings, cool, with a taste of nostalgia

and the sun calmer, as if tired

of the excesses of August.

The day carries within it a sweet melancholy...

It is the moment when the soul looks back,

but at the same time takes a step forward.

The first of September is the crossroads of time:

a little summer, a little autumn,

and a sweet dream that calls us to live it.

Η πρώτη του Σεπτέμβρη έρχεται πάντα σαν ψίθυρος...

ένα απαλό χάδι του φθινοπωρινού αέρα

που αγγίζει το καλοκαίρι, λίγο πριν το αποχαιρετήσει.

Τα πρωινά, δροσερά, με μια γεύση νοσταλγίας

κι ο ήλιος πιο ήρεμος, σαν να κουράστηκε

από την υπερβολή του Αυγούστου.

Η μέρα κουβαλά μέσα της μια γλυκιά μελαγχολία...

Είναι η στιγμή που η ψυχή κοιτά πίσω,

μα συγχρόνως κάνει το βήμα μπροστά.

Η πρώτη του Σεπτέμβρη είναι το σταυροδρόμι του χρόνου:

λίγο καλοκαίρι, λίγο φθινόπωρο,

κι ένα όνειρο γλυκό που μας καλεί να το ζήσουμε.
