Another update on the Welcome Blanket: Working on the yellow square rows, and I had some extra "America" squares that didn't fit my original plan, so I laid everything out again last night to see if I could fit in a couple more - I did. 16 squares to go and it's looking blanket shaped now. My first Welcome Blanket, finally ready to be stitched together! Design created by my youngest: I cut and coloured the tiles that came with the official pattern to match the squares I planned, then put Blu-tack behind each one and let her try a few ideas before choosing her favourite!
