#the100dayproject Day 19/100 : "Welcome and Resist" I'm loving this Tunisian Entrelac. When I grow tired of a color I just start a new row of blocks with a different color. I eventually go back and finish the previous color! It feels like I'm building my own soft wall of resistance. One block protects against violence against women. One block keeps families together. One block protects against homelessness, one against hunger. One protects against Islamophobia, and another against antisemitism. One against child abuse, one against air and water pollution... See? I finished crocheting my second #WelcomeBlanket project- #myfionaandstormy are helping me inspect it for #tails that need to be woven in before I give it a wash/rinse/lay flat to dry. It will ship out in a couple of days. Another update on the Welcome Blanket: Working on the yellow square rows, and I had some extra "America" squares that didn't fit my original plan, so I laid everything out again last night to see if I could fit in a couple more - I did. 16 squares to go and it's looking blanket shaped now.
