• Al Qarah Mountain, which is also known as "Jabal al Qarah" and "Al Shaban Mountain," is located in the Eastern Province, Al Ahsa, in Saudi Arabia and is a UNESCO world heritage site. Al Qarah Mountain is known for its fascinating and unique caves that were formed due to the dissolving process of water-soluble rocks, the collapse of the upper rock layers as a result of abrasion, and earthquake fissures. Some of the caves in the Al Qarah Mountain are particularly famous, like the Al Nashab cave, which has moderately steady temperatures throughout the year. Some caves are also used to hold workshops for local traditional potters. The caves have 28 tall linear passageways, which are a total of 1.5 kilometers in length. Locals and tourists love to visit to admire the incredible heritage site and learn about the history by exploring the caves. • 6 November 2021 • @welcomesaudi @visitsaudi @visitsaudi.ar #welcomesaudi #visitsaudi #visitsaudiarabia #livelovesaudi (at Al Qara Mountain, Hofuf) https://www.instagram.com/p/CeZKiVnIWfH/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
