Has anyone noticed
how Dan's vocabulary is beginning to slip into Phil's? Dan always says abbreviations like "tbh" and things like "welcs" and Phil has started saying them too. I can't help but to see this as a metaphor for their whole relationship. They have lived so long together, you can see how much they've changed eachother for the better. Their smiles are bigger. Their laughs are longer. They both met eachother when they were going through tough times. Dan with the existential crises and university dropout and Phil who had recently lost his best friend. They picked eachother up and fixed eachother's broken pieces. Sure, this whole post is based on Phil talking like Dan. But they've not only affected eachother's vocabulary. They've made eachother happier.
Engagement idea.
For all those who are stuck on what to do for that special someone I just had a really amazing idea.
Start off with getting up in the morning without them. Not telling them why just leaving a note by them that says "There is a key, to unlock the mystery find it." Then leave little hints all over the house, like on the fridge, "The first place we had dinner?" And like all of those cheesy movies leave a trail running all around (Make sure to okay it with store owners and or workers at that time.) And to make it ten times special have like this big huge chest in a park (when they have found the key direct them there) and have like a fake huge jewel in the box just that and inside of it a ring.) Make sure you are hiding in like a bush or something or just ninja and incognito. Then when the open the jewel (Put an open me note on it) come out of nowhere and GET ON YOUR KNEE!!!!
