Dog & Cat Meat
I am a long time Animal Welfarist, and I also eat living things (plants and animals). A contradiction? I think not.
This is a video about how many different countries eat dogs and cats. While I don't disagree with the consuming of one of earths resources, my problem with it stems from the manner in which these animals are kept/handled/transported. It's not only inhumane, it's unsanitary. A good way to spread and catch illnesses and disease. I also have a big issue with the fact that often enough, citizens pets are stolen to be sold for food. (could you imagine living in a place where this could happen to your pet? It's bad enough ours get stolen for animal laboratory tests!) Yes it's mostly Asian countries that eat our beloved cats/dogs and like to eat things while they are still alive, but not every person follows this. So before you start condemning an entire race or culture... You should really take a look at your own.
