I actually forgot to mention something interesting.
We went to church on Sunday.
His boss is a Jehovah's Witness, and invited us to come with him to a "meeting", as they call it, with him and his family.
When Dude told me, he jokingly said he was going to "fuck my baby's face before church" which I thought was funny. We didn't end up doing anything naughty before going to the house of the Lord though.. we're not that bad, hehe :P
I told my mom we were going and she was worried, because she had this notion that Witnesses are strict and weird and don't believe in Christ, but it was actually pretty much... the same as my family's church, which is Baptist. I was surprised.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that nearly every member of the church came up to us and introduced themselves. I don't remember one name, but we both felt welcomed
Dude grew up Catholic, so it's not like either of us are unfamiliar with a church environment, it's just that neither of us are very devoted to religion. I am still religious, just not as religious as I'd like to be.
Anyways, just a tidbit I thought I'd share. Character and story development and all that, ya dig.
