Jackson: Lanius? Lanius can you hear us?
Lanius: Sol and Lua-thank fuck. Yeah we can hear you boss. Sorry, we had to run this through other channels…it’s patchy but we can hear you.
Micheal: That is good at least, what is your current situation?
Lanius: In a word? Fucked. We’re not in immediate danger but we are not in a good spot.
Venahn: Elaborate.
Lanius: We’ve locked down Fortuna. Some bloody mad creatures-Krusten hold it properly-are ripping up the Orb Vallis as we speak.
Jackson: Were you able to get an identification on what was going on?
Lanius: Negative boss. We barely had enough time to shut the door when shit started exploding. Saw Sorren land as we were shutting the doors but that was about it.
Micheal: Can you engage?
Lanius: Negative. We’re hold up with like …three dozen very scared Tenno. We leave and they will panic. And all the Fortuna residents don’t know what’s going on either-people will panic and it will get messy quickly.
Micheal: Fucking shit…
Venahn: Is everyone safe?
Lanius: We’ve locked this entire place down. I got Krusten and Tauron on the bloody doors keeping it shut. So, for now, yes we’re safe. Dunno how long though.
Micheal: That is something at least.
Lanius: Is…is Sorren okay?
Venahn: He is. Got beat to hell and back. But he made it to the dojo.
Lanius: Thank fuck. That’s good to hear. Lots of people got scared seeing him pull up.
Lanius: So, what’s the plan?
Jackson: According to Sorren there are currently two Warframes that are apparently his sons from the future.
Lanius: Doesn’t he only have Sirius?
Venahn: Eternalism.
Lanius: Say less.
Jackson: So there’s two now. Sirius and Orion. And also their protoframe side pieces.
Lanius: Say what now?
Jackson: Point is. We got a lot of problems all at once.
Lanius: So, the plan? Do we have one?
Micheal: Divide and conquer is the plan. One of us deals with each son while we have bodyguards on stand by.
Krusten: We got who is dealing with who?
Venahn: We’re getting there.
Lanius: Better than nothing. We’ll try to hold as best as we can then.
Okay so I know you’re trying to find our idiot brothers right now but get back to me asap this is very important for the Umbral Transference Bolt project you’ve been really pushing for.
I’ve been able to properly reverse engineer most of Ballas’s biological bs with some of WARFRAME: DANTE, ALLY: LOID and ALLY: PETROS VORTEN/FATHER ‘s help. I know you don’t want us involving the Entratis but they’re probably the most knowledgeable in this stuff outside of Ballas himself whom we for obvious reasons will not be talking to. That and we’ve already spent too long trying to reverse engineer this ourselves. So you can give me grief later, but this was the best way of going about this instead of continually ramming our heads into the wall.
To cut a long story short, outside of going through this info with our Archemidian (USER: MICHEAL) when he gets back with you, we should be able to finally build and test our very own transference bolts in a similar manner to WARFRAME: UMBRA EXCALIBUR ’s. It should (stressing the *should* here) restore parts of (if not totally restore) memories of currently inert Warframes from the era of the Old War, allowing them to act alongside us as our current Warframes do while allowing us to use Warframes whom’s original bases are either lost to us or belong to other Tenno.
Basically it means we can use Warframes whom normally wouldn’t act independently of us in a similar manner to our current companions. At least, in theory.
It does bring another issue however. We need to test these bolts, and we can’t use already present Warframes in order to do it. It would…muddy the waters as it were, the testing wouldn’t be valid. However, I was made aware by my operator USER: REIN/RAY counterpart that USER: VEN should have a-I believe he said Prime Excalibur-that is inert and was made during the Old War. We don’t exactly have many frames we could test these bolts on and I’d rather it be on a frame that isn’t in use. Just in case it results in a catastrophic breakdown (which it shouldn’t but we can never be too careful). I know we could just simply make a new Warframe but I hesitate to do so, it may noy work since those frames in Dante’s own words “Are totally hollow”. So, we need to try with frames from the era of the old war.
I would simply ask that you bring Ven up to date with this idea and hurry up with your little adventure. USER: JACK is getting nervous with the current situation between Loid and LEADER: LOTUS over this…Dark Refractory business that they’ve been talking about. I think he would rather you be here to help him. So you know, hurry up.
