May 20 1975 - May 20 2020, the National Remembrance Day of Cambodia about Khmer Rouge . Some people were introduced to Cambodia through Khmer Rouge aka Pol Pot, whether from the books, magazine, movies, or through their friends, but do you know What May 20th is to Us? Every year we still celebrate the remembrance day as a memorial day in any station that was used as the killing field. There’re few major places where are known for the big station and for example, Wat Samrong Knong. The is the Memorial Place at the back side of the pagoda where you can see the skeleton on top, description at the back, and the carving of related story around . They also call it the well of shadow where it remind them of those nightmares time. I went there yesterday to pay respect to those who lost their life there and to see how it is taken care of.
