Goddess Wemmbu on a pirates AU😋

She wasn't the goddess of just one thing, so to avoid causing imbalance and being accused by other gods, she divided herself into three forms.

Moon Goddess

Where she's like Columbina from Genshin yk? With all that calm and comforting and silly aura, big black and dark purple wings she uses to fly above the sea, long and shiny purple hair that looks like a galaxy. Her tiara is like a giant halo with a veil that she usually uses to hide her face. Sailors often pray to her and glorify her to receive blessings for safety on their voyages, so that they may return home to their families and not be attacked by creatures or pirates. Some sailors claim to have seen her flying over the ocean and landing to dance on the water with the creatures. She does not speak, and when she appears in all her glory to those mere guests, she brings them a calm and better future.

She was never saw under daylight.

Sea goddness

Where she has a sirene like form, with a tail of shimmering purple and dark blues scales, The hair is tied up in a loose braid and decorated by mermaids.She is adorned with gold accessories and valuable trinkets. Her tiara here becomes a tiara embellished with amethysts and diamonds. The mermaids see her as a supreme figure of order and protection. They often give her gifts, and the lucky ones brave enough to get close to her can receive kisses, hugs, and affection from her. Wemmbu treats them like her own little girls. <3 (which they actually are, since she created them from her own tears.) <333 Pirates don't like her very much, since she protects mermaids, and pirates often hunt mermaids for sport, as mermaids generally like to sink ships and eat sailors and pirates.

Chaos Goddness

Here she is a normal succubus who hides among the population since she likes to bring a little chaos and destruction with her. But it draws attention wherever she goes, after all we're talking about Wemmbu, right folks? Please! 🙄 She enjoys deceiving, seducing, and taking advantage of men for her own gain. But in some cases, exceptions can be made, like Rejoice. Who, up to that point, was the only man she had ever loved in her life. They married and stayed together for 30 whole years until an illness took Rejoice away from her. 💔

Maybe I'll try writing something about this trope and post it on AO3, but I don't have many ideas of what to do.

Funny you bring up Rejoice! I've been thinking of a "Came Back Wrong" trope AU in which Rejoice gets revived by the under-nether world people (on accident) but the revival process screwed with his head.

So he still has his whole "we shouldn't kill anyone, cause that's permanent :(" moral line but it's taken to the extreme. No one should be killed at all. In fact everyone deserves a chance to reform! No matter who. They should reform. We should make a place for people who want peace and safety!!

Insert ~The Church~

A place where refugees, people who seek peace, and people who desire redemption come together and support each other. However, it's still an organization on an anarchy server so there's no way it's ending well. Members of the church believe that people should convert to it, and that those who reject them are "lost".

Rejoice as it's creator, tracked down Wemmbu to reunite and ask her to join the church, and since they weren't asking her to fight or anything (and more importantly, it's *Rejoice*) she accepted. She would become one of the first members and end up in an official relationship with him, becoming the figurehead for people who were seeking redemption.

Not sure where this would be in the timeline, probably after the Law or maybe it picks up near the end of the Kings arc? It would start out as a simple safe space but like every well-meaning organization on the server, would eventually evolve into something dangerous ("ur in a cult. wemmbu this is a cult")

Wemmbu would probably be it's #1 protector. Obviously the other protags would end up involved at some point, and Parrot would spearhead a resistance (like usual), but Wemmbu would be a big obstacle. It's worse however cause she doesn't understand why they're trying to fight the church. They aren't killing people, they aren't destroying anything, it's just a safe space for players. Plus these guys are trying to get rid of Rejoice! After she just got him back!

I'd imagine Rejoice is a bit more manipulative, not really evil or fake, just... sly. He does love Wemmbu, a ton. There's no question about that. He just tells some harmless white lies to keep her by his side. Meanwhile Wemmbu has rose-tinted glasses on 24/7 cause it's literally Rejoice! Rejoice wouldn't hurt a fly, why is everyone assuming he's some evil mastermind??
