I really want to bump up my wilderness first responder cert to a wilderness EMT cert, but Im pretty sure the training involves hospital rotation which I can’t do during the pandemic since i’m high risk for covid :( and also the tuition is like $4,400. lol

Lost in Maine

My two week journey in January to become a NREMT. Throughout the two weeks I learned how to assess patients in an urban setting, perform practical skills, and observed at a hospital and ambulance service. I passed my CBT exam and state practicals, leading to me becoming a NREMT and WEMT.

I met some cool people and learned a lot of cool things. Spending my winter break becoming an EMT was probably my best decision this year so far (although my bank account doesn’t currently agree, it will in the future)
