this was probably a really stupid idea. violet had knocked on their door was ready to disappear the moment she did it. in fact when wendy first opened the door she had straight up went invisible in front of them so that they didn't know their pathetic ex was checking in on them. violet had to see for herself that wendy was still there. sure, she had been painstakingly checking each and every update to make sure their name didn't show on the list but apparently that wasn't enough to ease her mind. when wendy closed the door the first time she should have just left, but instead she knocked again and stayed put when the door opened. "i...hi. i just...needed to know...you were okay. you're probably not okay. i'm not okay. i mean, not that it matters i just...had to make sure."

Wendy was the last person Tiara went to. After emotionally destroying herself over and over with the lost boys, she saved the cherry on top of everything for last. The girl she could have maybe been friends with one day. The girl she had wasted her time hating because she was too stubborn to admit to herself that Peter was never going to choose her. She knew where she lived because of Peter, funny enough. The two had come and picked her up before, whisking her away to some game night at the lost boy’s place or any other ridiculous event the boys could come up with last second. Those memories weren’t even old, but they felt that way to Tiara now. She felt so far removed from it all that it felt like it happened eons ago. 

The only thing that was fresh was her pain. Peter kissing her and breaking her heart right after being her final straw. She couldn’t keep doing this to herself and everyone around her. She couldn’t keep turning into this creature that felt so far from herself that she couldn’t even stand to look in the mirror. So she was ending things. On her terms. She knocked on the girl’s door and took a step back to wait for an answer. Her eyes were defeated and she was honestly long overdue for sleep, but it was okay. She needed to get this done. When Wendy opened the door she put her hands up in surrender. She didn’t have any fight left in her. “Can we talk for a moment?”

“And right now, you’re in the thousands. No, millions near the bottom of my favorite people,” Tiara retorted, rolling her eyes. First it was Peter and that was hard enough on her own heart. Now Cubby? She was already mad about her absolute best friend falling for this girl but Cubby too was where she drew the line. “Do you know why? It’s because you’re hurting my boys. Fucking forget me for a minute. Now it isn’t just a simple thing. Your crush goes beyond Peter now and it hurts someone else I care about. Tiara knew she couldn’t avoid Wendy forever. It was like her curse to run into the girl when she was the least prepared. She had just been doing some research in the library and reading on hisotrical anqitues when she had entered and she could practically feel it with the way that the air changed around the room. Tiara didn’t read into what that air meant or what it could mean, she just knew the moment Wendy had seen her she flipped her book upwards and tried to cover her face. She wasn’t going to start a fight in the library because she was not about to get banned from the library and Wendy had to have known that because she approached her. Tiara slowly let the book fall back on the table and pushed up her reading glasses a little before sighing. “What can I do for you now, Wendy?”

“If you give me a few moment you know I could do it,” Tiara said before sighing in frustration. “My god, Wendy. I just don’t get you. I don’t get how you can just keep waltzing into every single safe space I have ever had and take over it. You’re not even....I don’t understand why you can’t just back off? Why you can’t just leave me and my friends alone. It’s bad enough you’re always here to replace me. It’s bad enough that Peter looks at you the way he does. I just don’t understand why you have to be so insistent on being friends with me or trying to get a little thing in to make it seem like you’re on my level when you’re just not.” She didn’t know why this was coming out now. She had a bad day already and coming to see her boys only to be greeted by Wendy and her stupid perky attitude just made it all worse. “This is embarrassing enough. So why can’t you just leave me alone?” @wendymadarlings

english scandal: soccer team becomes orphan upon divorce.

the probably most odd-named english couple, winifred grant (her maiden name) and rupert mering, has finally settled upon who will be allowed to keep ownership of their soccer team afc richmond, famouslyn known as the joke of the english league. as winifred becomes the only owner, rupert steps back to “take care of personal business”. rumor has it that he is going to travel with his new girlfriend, who he met while still married to winifred, and can’t wait to see his ex-wife losing control of her new situation.

mentions of winifred’s alleged erratic behavior aren’t new. reliable sources confide that, since the divorce news broke out, winifred has been having nervous breakdowns regularly. afc richmond fans worry over the team’s future, which never looked so bright either way.
