My first open water swim!! I was pretty nervous going into it, but I was meeting friends to swim with so that helped a lot! My friend Ann even let me borrow her wetsuit (though the water wasn’t cold at all). I got stuffed into the wetsuit and we took off! And I felt SO much better than I thought I would! My form was far from perfect the whole time, I did some floating/doggy paddling a bit, but for my first open water swim I think I did great! I followed my friends and turned around a little after they did and they did over 600 yards, so I’m guessing i did about 400ish. But I was very pleased with how this went and I am feeling very confident in the tri at the end of the month! 🏊🏻♀️ After my swim I met my friend Bridget and we went out for a nice bike ride! She’s still a beginner rider so the pace was easy for me, but I’m always glad to get out there and encourage her to ride! The rest of my Saturday was spent doing stuff around the house and just hanging out. A nice relaxing evening 😊

After seeing what my friend draw (check comments), I thought to myself "MUST DRAW". It might not be great, but it's still not bad either. Thanks to @istisah I was able to finish it in pretty good form. ALSO SMOLL ROCK ARE THE BEST ROCK K BYE

i'm honestly surprised by how well my septum healed?? like i was expecting it to get infected at least once not to jinx it or anything,, i kind of thought i might get a keloid or a bump on it but nope,, just a regular lil tunnel thru my nose
