Thinking about how Kaz and Inej don't have "happy endings". They want to be together but their goals in life are different so they can't be.

Nina and Matthias wanted to go help people in Ravka and Fjerda. But Matthias was killed and Nina ended up in Fjerda even though she wanted to be in Ravka.

And then there's Jesper and Wylan. Living together with all the money they could ever need, happy and at peace with each other.
