A year without Fringe.
The list of episodes I chose to watch today. When I had the idea to do a re e-watch, I chose the 1st episode of each season that came to my mind. So here it is.
Next year I plan to choose two episodes per season. -
1x15 - Inner Child - b/c Observer's story is still on my mind
2x12 - Johari Window - Great episode that shows the way we see the world and I'm pretty sure it was the 1st episode of the show that I've seen and it was even before I became obsessed.
3x22 - The Day We Died - it was a mindblowing (Where's Peter Bishop?) season finale for me. The beginning of my obsession (first episode I saw live was 3x19 - LSD).
5x01 - Transilience Thought Unifier Model 11 - I chose this one because of POliviEtta and automatically 4x19 - Letters of Transit came to my mind too.
That's it!

I'll never wear your broken crown I took the road and I fucked it all away Now in this twilight how dare you speak of grace
This Fringeversary thing brought back so many feels that I'm definitely going to rewatch all the show soon.
"I love you"
(And we love you)
I remember it. I remember us. I remember everything
We had that case, that couple in apartment 6B, the woman who lost her husband. After I came back here and then we went upstairs.
I remember William Bell.
I remember crossing over to bring you back.
I remember Jacksonville and seeing you shimmer the first time we kissed.
I remember you walking to the machine and getting inside and being scared that you were going to die.
I remember it. I remember us. I remember everything
#WeRememberFringe it's been a year! Let's make it trending on Twitter for the okd times
This time last year, it was the evening, 18th of January (Time zones, it was the 19th by the time I saw the episode). I was trying to keep my mind off of the fact that this time tomorrow, my favourite show would be over. I hadn’t started watching until the middle of 2012, a perfect little show called Fringe. I remember watching the pilot for the first time with my mum, being amazed by it, by the end of the teaser, I was sucked in.
When it came to the fandom, I remember expecting to not being welcomed in, it’s happened with many other fandoms that when I was welcomed in to the Fringe fandom with open arms, I was surprised yet so very grateful. The Fringe fandom is one of the best I’ve ever had the privilege to be a part of, I wasn’t there in the beginning but I was there in the end and I’m still here today. I’ve made amazing friends, people I now consider to be like family, this is something you can only get by being in a fandom I believe.
Once the finale had aired and it’d been a few days, maybe weeks since we’d all seen it, I remember wondering what would happen to us, I’ve seen many fandoms who seem to just disappear when they’re show came to an end and I that wasn’t something I wanted to happen to us. I was worried that one day, there’d only be a few of us left who regularly showed our love for our show.
But a year later I see how we’re still here, we’ve lost people and we’ve gained people, but at the end of the day we’re all here and we’re all a family.
Unlike many other fandoms we don’t seem to have those people who believe they are superior because they’ve met the cast or been here from the very beginning, I admire how as a fandom we believe that we’re all equal because we share our love for Fringe.
I’m very grateful for the friends I have made through this show, I love how we all come together to celebrate this day instead of wallowing in the pain of losing a show we love.
We are and always be a family.
