He’d prioritize Monk of course.
I also feel like his least priority is Disher, not out of malice, he and Disher are close but Disher is a Lieutenant and he can take care of himself. I mean that’s if there’s no huge danger I mean.

I imagine it would be a heat of the moment where Stottlemeyer patience wears a bit thin with Monk, causing him to lash out.
While it’s only minor, just a suit tear and maybe a little bruise, Stottlemeyer immediately regretted it.
Monk is of course mortified by his action, already being afraid of Stottlemeyer being a Werewolf and all. After that moment, Monk scrambles away and Stottlemeyer doesn’t chase after him because he doesn’t want to scare or harm him further.
