gltas and young justice. its really depressing
See the thing is, I can’t bring myself to care too much about the yj cancellation because the more I think about it, it wasn’t the canon that I was actually enjoying. I wasn’t caring so much about the characters and world because what was happening on the show - but because of what the fandom headcanoned and wrote.
BUT gltas? I never had a need to read fic for that. The canon was already just SO GOOD. It was always so much more heartfelt and meaningful to me in terms of it’s storytelling, and I felt so much more fufilled by it than yj. I was never really at that point of doubting how the planned storylines for season 2 would play out as I was for yj season 3.
I dunno - I guess I just kinda feel like the fandom for yj can easily fill in the hole that was created by it’s cancellation, because the canon was becoming lackluster for me.
But gltas, even if it did have a larger fandom that could fill the hole, I feel like nothing it produces will ever quite reach what I know the second season would have been - because I know season two would’ve been that good.
