Lady: Yes! Are you the money man?
My boss: Yes, yes I am.
Lady: Good. I'm the broke mother.

My boss: Yes, yes I am.
Lady: Good. I'm the broke mother.
Me and my boss (who has been my best friend outside of work for 6 years) had lunch together and it was a pretty standard lunch. Discussing what we have to do to get ready for tonight events and such. AND THEN he and I looked at each other for a few seconds before we both stated how much we’d prefer gin and tonic to real food right now. Then lunch proceeded as normal. Not sure how to interpret this lunch.
