Left: Storms or Degervik crown office at Kirkkonummi by Werner Holmberg
Description: painting of a landscape, in the middle of the art a few people are in a small both, in the background are buildings, at the side of the art are trees. The sky is blue and yellow with clouds gathering, the clouds are partly white and partly grey.
Propaganda: I am a big fan of the colors in this, despite the name Storms, the colors are mostly soft, clouds are getting darker but they are not yet filling the sky black and dark grey, there is a certain tension in it, with the people in the small boat being pretty out in the open and possible in danger if they are not quick enough, but despite it the feeling I feel seeing it is a postive one, maybe it is how it is a painting, how it is a safe little thrill like a roller coaster or a horror movie.

Right: Sunset in Pargas 1916 by Santeri Salokivi
Description: painting of a sailing ships in the forground, and a city in the background, the sun is setting behind the buildings, the sky and the reflection in the water are yellow, pink and blue.
Propaganda: I love it when the sky is pink and I love art where that fleeting moment is catched.
