So the news is out!! This year West End Stage will be taking you to see CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY!! Having been nominated for 7 Olivier Awards, the show has been received with critical acclaim. It is currently at the famous Theatre Royal, Drury Lane which has been home to shows such as Shrek The Musical, Oliver! and Lord Of The Rings The Musical! Featuring ingenious stagecraft, the wonder of the original story that has captivated the world for almost 50 years is brought to life with music by Marc Shaiman, and lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman (the guys who wrote HAIRSPRAY!). A chocolate garden, an army of squirrels and the curiously peculiar Oompa-Loompas must be believed to be seen in this gigantic new musical that is choc-full of fantastical treats to dazzle your senses.
