#Repost @mythnovel with @get_repost ・・・ I have just received word from Prospexi, daughter of Cory Phaous - the chief of all Saltus faeries. She has left a book on lake #Weslemkoon for #bookfairy treasure hunt day and urges you to find it before the storms come and it is lost forever. She writes: Greetings to those who are on the lake, Here’s a riddle for you to leave or take: Open your eyes and lend me your ear, Follow me if you can see and hear. I’ve hidden a book - a secret gate, To a world where choice is friends with fate, And truth and myth share the same page, And time can travel apart from age. This book is sealed for you to find, So gather in close and open your mind. And come... To where three bays meet at the end of one. Where the red sun sets and the river doth run. There sits an island, small it be, Surrounded by another three. This isle once wandered under starry night, Over still waters cloaked by night. Back and forth it floated around, Without a trace and hardly a sound. It was always back by the break of day, Until one night when it lost its way. When the fog rolled in and darkness spread, By morning the lake was full of dread. The island was gone, no trace or clue. Where it had floated, no one knew. The faeries searched high over hill and tree, The syreni looked deep within the sea. ‘Twas the elves who found the floating isle, Though it took them a week o’r many a mile. They tied it up to their mighty ship, And towed it back. It was quite a trip. They used a boulder to hold it down, And stop the island from floating around. And there it remains to this very day An island held down at the end of West Bay. It is here where I leave you the book - the gate. Should you choose to search and it be your fate, And you solve this riddle and find it there, It is yours to keep, but read with care. By my hand it is written, Prospexi, daughter of Cory Phaous #ibelieveinbookfairies #freebookalert @bookfairies_can @bookfairies_toronto @bookfairies_ontario
