Dad had an accident today :(
Whoa, this seems so long ago. I can't believe Tidd used to be that small and Wesley that young.
I can't believe it's been 16 years since we got married and then a year later we we're blessed with Zorion. It's been a crazy 16 years but I wouldn't change them for anything and I wouldn't change you. I love you so much Wesley. I hope that I get to spend another 16 crazy years with you and I hope we get to have many more spoiled kids.
Remember when our precious baby was this tiny?
Busted || Zorion & Roderick || Caelan & Wesley || Tristian & Jayden
Slipping into one of his favorite sweaters Zorion grabbed his dirty and beat up converse. He managed to find a way to make mischief and possibly get himself and Rod in trouble. Quietly he stepped out of his bedroom, making sure he didn't wake his sleeping parents. He was already in enough hot water with them and he didn't have any plans of getting grounded longer than he already was. When he finally made it down the stairs that seemed never ending he felt a buzz come from the phone in his pocket. "Where are you?!" Roderick's text read, smiling Zorion replied. "Chill out baby, I'm walking out the door as we speak. The cool air blew through his hair, he enjoyed nights like this. "Zor, what are you getting us into now. My parents are still miffed about me coming home late on moving day." Roderick said quickly and quietly trying to mask any nerves he had. "I managed to swipe Daddy's card key so we can use it to get back in. The guard isn't supposed to be working until tomorrow and I know a way we can get out too." Zorion explained proudly but he knew the look that Roderick was giving could only mean a nagging coming on.
"Zorion, I love you but I don't know about this. We could get in serious trouble and I don't want your parents to be mad at you anymore than they usually are." He said grabbing Zorion's face into his hands. "I know, I know you're always worried about getting in trouble but who always takes the fall for you? Me and this time is no exception. So can we please go and enjoy ourselves.?" He begged as Roderick let out a heavy sigh. "Lead the way." He said worriedly. Motioning for Roderick to follow him, he lead them to a path in the bushes. "See, we can get out through here. It's a little rough but it's clear enough for the two of us." Zorion pointed through the tunnel. "Why do you need the card key though, can't we just go back through here?" Roderick asked seemingly confused. "No, we're on the lawn and the sprinklers are set to come on at around 12. We don't wanna get caught up in that. If we go back through the front entrance it can be avoided." He explained hurriedly. "Well, you do have everything figured out." Roderick laughed, "I guess we better get going then."
The boys walked for nearly ten minutes when they reached the end of the tunnel and started to jog down the side walk. "Zorion, I hate to be one of those boyfriends but what are we going to do at 9:30 at night? It's too late to go to a movie." The smaller boy asked curiously. "Well, since I knew you'd ask. I'm taking you to the park after we stop over here at Pizza Hut." Zorion playfully grabbed Roderick and pulled him into a hug.

Tossing and turning Caelan woke up from his semi sleep. He hadn't slept good since the move and he assumed it was because of unfamiliarity of being in their new house. He missed the closeness that the apartment gave him and Wesley. Getting up from the king size bed he reached for his glasses, in his younger days he didn't need them much but bad eye sight came with age and he was able accept that. After getting his glasses in place and emptying his bladder he had a weird feeling. Something felt off but he couldn't quite place his finger on it. He decided to wake Wesley up, as much as he hated too but the feeling was nagging him. "Wesley." He gently shook the sounding sleep man. "Wesley, wake up." Caelan insisted once more and was met with a very agitated Wesley. "What Caelan, it's nearly midnight." He said miffed. "Something doesn't feel right, like something is off." Caelan said leaning over Wesley. "The only thing that's off is me not being asleep." He angrily retorted.
"Fine whatever, go back to sleep. I'll just take a drive down to the service station maybe just being in this house is bothering me." He questioned while looking for his keys. "Okay baby. Don't forget your card key, you'll need it to get back in." Wesley advised groggily. "Hmm, that would make sense but I can't find our card key." Caelan replied scratching his head. "Didn't you put it on the dresser with your wallet." Wesley who was now sitting up asked. "I did but it's not here anymore. I couldn't have misplaced it because my wallet is still here." Caelan wondered, still scratching the same spot on his head.
"If you keep scratching that same spot you're gonna be bald there." Wesley nagged from the bed. "I don't know where else I could have put it, I clearly remember laying it right here with my wallet and phone." He said frustrated. "Cae baby I'm sure it's around here, you probably just left it downstairs or something. This house is a lot bigger than the apartment." Wesley reassuringly insisted, Caelan knew that he meant well and that alone put his confusion and frustrations at ease. "You're probably right but of course when are you ever wrong." He said letting a loud chortle escape from him. "Making jabs are we? Come here and let me jab you in the face." Wesley playfully said grabbing Caelan by the waist.
"Think maybe we should check on Zorion?" Caelan asked in a suddenly serious tone. "Caelan the boy is fifteen years old, where is he gonna sneak off too." Wesley mocked. "You know he has that sleep walking problem, I just wanna check on him. It'll put my mind more so at ease." He said giving Wesley a serious and stern look "Well let's go then but I'm telling you everything is okay." Wesley agreed while throwing on his robe. Caelan knew that Zorion was fine but it was just his worry for his son that usually got the best of him. Remembering nights they sat up all night with him when he had colic at six weeks old, a couple of hospital stays when he was 4 and a major surgery when he was 10. It surprised him how much of the Mom he was and how much the Dad Wesley was. He always thought it would be Wesley who spent countless nights up and worrying but it was him that always dealt the punishments and it was him that always had the worry on the back of his mind. Not to say that Wesley didn't but their track record in their younger days would say otherwise.
When the approached the door panic and fear escaped Caelan when he seen that his son's room was empty. "Please tell me he's downstairs in the basement." Caelan said trying not to let his breath leave him. "When I came in here at 8 to get him off the phone he was right there in is bed, let's check downstairs." Wesley trying to hide his panic as well.
Moving Day || Caelan and Wesley
Stepping over clothes and other items that was flung about the apartment, Caelan entered his and Wesley's bedroom for the last time, setting down on the small bed that he shared with his fiance he picked up a picture of them and their son. Caelan felt a sense of accomplishment as he stared at the family photo. "Time flies, doesn't it." He heard Wesley say from the doorway. "You're telling me, I remember this like it was yesterday. He was so little and tiny. Now he's taller than me." Caelan said sitting the photo back down on the nightstand. "Can you believe that by tomorrow evening this apartment won't be our home anymore." Wesley said laying back on the bed with Caelan. "It's crazy. Zorion pretty much grew up in this apartment and we spent fifteen years of our life here. I guess in way I'll miss it here but we're moving on to greener pastures." He said while Wesley pushed his hair back from his face.
"I just hope we're not getting in over our head, I know Thomas gave us the chance to live there but I just worry at what cost." Wesley said in a serious tone. "Look it's Thomas, he's been boning my sister for fifteen years, I seriously doubt he's going to charge us anything. And if he did I'm sure it would just be for minor things, like utilities, you worry too much babe." Caelan pointed out with a small laugh. "You know me, if I'm not worrying I'm not doing something right." Wesley said returning a laugh of his own. "We better get some sleep, we have a long day tomorrow." Wesley said nudge Caelan's cheek with his nose. "Goodnight to you too Wes." He said before turning over
The next morning Caelan woke up in a drowsy haze to a clean and near empty room. "You're finally up." He heard Wesley say from the hallway. "Eh, yeah, Have you been cleaning all night?" Caelan asked confused. "Yeah. I couldn't sleep." Before Wesley could finish they were interrupted by a very cheerful Zorion. "Good Morning Dads!" He exclaimed over Wesley's loud vacuuming. "And why aren't you in school?" Caelan yelled over the vacuum cleaner while giving Zorion a stern eyebrow. "Dad said I could stay home duh." Zorion snapped back. "Watch your tone Zor." Wesley said turning off the loud appliance. "Anyways, I didn't see the point in sending him to school today since we're going to be moving our stuff out." He continued as Caelan frowned.
"Don't look at me like that Caelan Moore, you know there was no point in sending him today." Wesley said pointing one of his long fingers at Caelan. "You're right as always." Caelan said giving into Wesley. But that's how it usually was in the Moore family, Zorion and Wesley always had their way. It didn't bother Caelan in the slightest, all he cared about was his family being happy and he knew that he would go to the ends of the Earth to make that possible.
