I told them I want to live I want to explore ... I’ll show them all the dreams I have conjured ... I’ll show them all I did what I said I would do!
The church of what is and the owner Rev Emery E. Carl. What a great experince found this this cool van started taking picks. I end up getting to meet the driver and get to create connection. So important to connect with others.
We made it out to the small town of Astoria on the Northern coast of Oregon yesterday afternoon. We didn't really do much except get our bearings and eat some sushi. However, today we had the whole day to ourselves so we went to the beach in search of some funny mushrooms. Unfortunately for us, we did not find any. the day wasn’t a total loss though. Even though it was a balmy 40 degrees and raining all day today, it was nice to get out of the car and hike around on the sand dunes. My doggo Rosco loved it though! He really enjoys being off the leash and running free. He was never meant to be on leash. You could say he’s a free spirit like his dad. Later in the evening we went to have dinner with a friend of mine to catch up. It was really nice to have some light hearted conversations over some Chinese food with good friends. One topic of conversation we wandered into was about mushrooms. Anyway, my friends boyfriend was telling us that the locals do know where to find them, but the locations are kept secret so no one else can harvest them. We are going to spend one more day here on the Northern coast in Longbeach to hopefully find these wonderful mushrooms that are so highly talked of before heading up to Olympia to meet another friend.Time will only tell if end up finding any! Happy Travels!
